Goose Creek Candle Wax Melt Reviews - November 2019

This is a review of Goose Creek Candle Wax Melts from November 2019. Goose Creek Candle wax melts and candles can be found on their website at goosecreekcandle.com, and at some stores like Gabe's and Tuesday Morning.

Nectarine & Honey
Top: Nectarine, Peach, Apple; Mid: Spring Honey, Sheer Amber; Base: Fruity Mandarin, Cassis
Even if I didn't know the name of this scent, I would say peaches and honey because that's exactly what it smells like! I think it also has a hint of apple and possibly a smidgen of floral way in the background. Despite the honey, it's not overly sweet. It's a unique scent! When melted, I smell more peach and less honey.

Neroli
Top: Neroli, Bergamot, Pineapple, Lemongrass; Mid: Jasmine, Lavender, Orange Blossom; Base: Floral Nuances
Neroli is one of my favorite scents ever. It's like a richer, more extreme version of gardenia or jasmine, sweet and perfumey, with a hint of a nag champa note. Neroli sometimes goes by the name of orange blossom and petitgrain, even though they're slightly different scents. I'm thrilled that Goose Creek has come out with a Neroli scent, as I don't know of any other wax melt companies that ever have! This version leans a little more towards gardenia, which is perfectly okay, as it's such a lovely scent! Looking at the notes, I don't detect pineapple or lemongrass at all, and bergamot lends a cologney note to scents which I don't detect either.

Passionfruit Martini
Top: Passion Fruit, Tangerine, Cranberry; Mid: Lime, Lemon, Orange; Base: Sandalwood, Juniper Wood
On cold sniff this smells like grapefruit, orange, a hint of pineapple, and another slightly tart citrusy fruit. There's also a barely detectable smidgen of maybe a woodsy note way in the background. Melted, I smell mostly peach, like the outside of the peach rather than the sweet juicy inside. Looking at the notes, they're spot on, on cold sniff. It's probably the passion fruit that I think is peach when melted. It's quite nice!

Strawberry Daiquiri
Top: Juicy Strawberries, Tart Citrus; Mid: Pineapple, Juicy Berries; Base: Crystalized Sugar, Alcohol Notes
Super syrupy sweet strawberry scent with a smidgen of tartness way in the background, maybe pineapple. It's a cavity inducing sweetness and it smells great! Looking at the notes, I don't detect any alcohol notes which usually give scents a weird sour fermented note that this scent doesn't have at all.

Waiting for Santa
Top: Toasted Berries, Marshmallow Fluff; Mid: Sugar Crystals, White Peach; Base: Whipped Vanilla Bean
Super sweet rich blueberry confection with a sugary syrup note, toasted marshmallow (but not a smoky marshmallow), and maybe a hint of maple. Looking at the notes, I'm surprised I don't see blueberry, as all of our reviewers said this is a blueberry scent, although it's probably one of the "berries" in the notes. It's kind of a blueberry version of the Strawberry Daiquiri scent. We didn't smell peach at all. Fantastic scent!
Here's another review of this scent, in candle form.
