Goose Creek Candle Wax Melt Reviews - March 2020

A fantastic sweet banana scent with a vanilla note, like banana pudding or banana flavored candy. It's not an authentic banana, but that's perfectly okay because it smells SO good! This scent actually came out in April 2017 and has returned. I reviewed it at that time; throw with this new wax formula is better!

On cold sniff this smells like super sweet candy-like tropical fruit with a soft, warm, slightly ambery note, and a smidgen of lemon (or maybe tea?), and possibly a barely detectable smidgen of a floral way in the background. Melted, it's a bit more one-dimensional, with sweet tropical fruit that has a tiny bit of a sour note that I don't care for, and only a smidgen of the perfumey, floral note. I don't detect apple or orange at all, but possibly a smidgen of coconut, and a little bit of the peach.

I smell the citrusy grapefruit first, and the peach in the background, as well as a hint of tropical fruit. It has a summery, thirst-quenching quality, like grapefruit soda but not really fizzy. Interestingly, the scent description says it's a "zesty summer drink"! When melted, I smell more tropical fruit vibe... and there is it, mango in the scent notes! Looking at the notes, I don't smell any fresh breezy or watery oceanic notes at all. I kind of like this one because of the grapefruit note, although I'm not a fan of a lot of tropical fruit scents.

A sweet, candy-like tropical fruit scent with coconut and a bit of a marshmallowy note. Melted, I smell more coconut (with a slightly perfumey note) and much less fruit. On cold sniff it's similar to Beach Vibes, but not when melted. I love this scent! Looking at the notes, I don't smell citrus, and I'm surprised there's no coconut in this one. The marshmallowy note might be the "island vanilla".
