This is a review of the Spring 2018 Mainstays Wax Melts from Walmart (Blue Hyacinth, Cherry Pie, Papaya Passion). They smell fantastic!
Blue Hyacinth
This big, beautiful floral fragrance blends blue hyacinth and jasmine blooms with top accents of garden greens, citrus and white cyclamen. Nuances of oak moss and fresh musk reveals a sensuous, comforting base.
This smells EXACTLY like hyacinth, which is a greener, slightly watery, slightly less sweet version of lilac.
Cherry Pie
This is a fantastic almond scent with a buttery bakery note, and the cherry is more in the background.
Papaya Passion
This is a tropical fruit scent with notes of pineapple and papaya, and possibly a smidgen of coconut. It's sweet but not overly sweet, with a little bit of a sour note, and not overly pineappley.
