Yankee Candle Holiday 2022 Wax Melts Reviews

This is a review of 3 new Yankee Candle Holiday Christmas wax melts from Kohl's and Walmart: Silver Sage & Pine, Snow Globe Wonderland, and Spun Sugar Flurries.

Silver Sage & Pine
Top: Cassis, Clary Sage, Aldehydes; Mid: Pine Needle, Leather, Jasmine; Base: Cedarwood, Amber, Moss
This scent seems so familiar, and I'm sure I've smelled it before. It's pine with a woodsy note and plenty of black pepper. It may be very slightly smoky, and might have just a barely detectable smidgen of sweetness. It's a really nice pine scent! Looking at the notes, I'm not getting leather, although it is a deep, dark, kind of masculine pine scent (but no cologne notes). And I'm not getting jasmine or any sweet or floral notes.

Snow Globe Wonderland
Top: Icy Mint, Star Anise, Sage, Holly Berry; Mid: Nutmeg, Eucalyptus, Lavender; Base: Cedarwood, Praline, Snow Moss
I'm getting pine, lavender, eucalyptus (with the sinus clearing effect), and maybe a little bit of baby powder, which would be a great combination on its own. But it also has a little bit of a musty, very slightly sour note, like maybe peach, or even a salty oceany water note that doesn't work with the other notes. Looking at the scent notes, anise is similar to licorice, but I'm not getting any licorice notes at all. And no nutmeg, praline, or any foodie notes. Mint, yes I suppose it could have a bit of garden mint (but not peppermint). This is not one of my favorites.

Spun Sugar Flurries
Top: Whipped Pineapple, Lemon, Apricot, Apple; Mid: Cinnamon, Jasmine, Muguet, Evergreen Snow, Brandy; Base: Spun Sugar, Amber, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musk, Moss
This one is not included in my review video as I got it after I did the video. I love this scent! It reminds me of baby powder, but not as sweet. It smells more like a spring scent than winter scent, as I'm getting spring type florals as well as possibly a bit of jasmine, and maybe a smidgen of coconut? Not sure about the coconut though. Maybe a hint of musk, as it's a little perfumey, but not really a perfumey type sweetness. Possibly also a smidgen of barely detectable fruit way in the background, like peach, apple, plum, or orange, or all of those combined? I'm also getting a hint of vanilla, a whiff of sandalwood, and maybe a smidgen of a mossy note. This scent is really hard to describe, but it smells really nice! Looking at the notes, I was right about some of them, but I'm not getting pineapple, lemon or brandy, and definitely no cinnamon.
