This is a review of Big Lots (Living Colors) Wax Melts from March 2021. These are nice spring scents.
A nice sweet scent of musky perfume and sweet florals, with a bit of a fresh note. It's a pleasant scent.
Coconut Orange Flower
Fantastic! I smell mostly coconut, with mahogany, and a little bit of amber for perfumey warmth. It smells a lot like the new ScentSationals Coconut Sands, although this one has a barely detectable smidgen of sour fruit way way in the background that you wouldn't notice unless you're sniffing it side by side next to the ScentSationals scent, and the ScentSationals scent is a little sweeter and richer. No orange flower notes. I love this scent!
A very nice rich, slightly smoky pine scent with a smidgen of a floral and freshness. I really like this one.
This smells like authentic magnolia, and it's fabulous. It's sweet but natural (not perfumey), soft yet bright and fresh. When melting, I do smell the slight lemony note of the magnolia.
A fantastic super sweet musky perfume scent with a gardenia note. It's very sweet and very perfumey. I love it! I don't detect vanilla or any woodsy notes.
A nice, clean laundry scent that smells like clean sheets right out of the laundry! It's not a harsh or soapy detergent scent, nor is it a soft, perfumey fabric softener scent. Very nice!
I've smelled this scent before. It's a sweet, perfumey, slightly musky floral, more like jasmine than honeysuckle, but it also has a smidgen of a very very slightly sour tropical fruit note, and a tiny bit of a chemical note that I don't care for. The bitter, metallic chemical note is more pronounced when melted, so I'm not a fan of this one.
This is the most authentic floral scent I've ever smelled. I don't know what kind of flower it is, and I forget what wisteria smells like, but if I close my eyes and sniff the wax, it's like I'm sniffing a real flower. It's not perfumey and not even overly sweet, but kind of sweet for a real flower, with dewy green notes. Amazing!!! But I'm very disappointed about the weak throw.
