This is a review of ScentSationals Fall Wax Melts from Walmart 2015. There are some fantastic, unique scents in this collection.
Apple Berry Crumble
One of my favorite scents ever, this is a strong sweet rich scent of apples mixed with a slight cranberry note, but without the tartness. It also has a little bit of cinnamon and caramel, and a slight apple cider note. I don't smell any "pastry" notes. It's the same scent as AmbiEscents Cran Apple Cider. My description makes it sound like every other fall apple scent out there, but it's definitely not!
Baked with Love Duo
Pumpkin Sugar Cookies
A fantastic, yummy, rich, super sweet oatmeal raisin cookie scent with a hint of buttercream and a smidgen of cinnamon. I can actually smell the raisins. This is the same scent as AmbiEscents Pumpkin Sugar Cookies.
This scent doesn't come in a standalone scent. It's a rather standard sweet cinnamony pumpkiny bakery scent.
This is a rich, warm, fantastic scent with a deep blackberry note, although it's really not fruity (or foodie at all). It's sweet, but not overly sweet, and not perfumey at all. It may have a smidgen of a woodsy note. It's very similar to Goose Creek Blackberry Parfait, Sonoma Snow Days from Kohls, Scentsy Luna, and probably several others. I adore this scent!
Blackberry Cashmere duo
This is a duo of Blackberry Cider and Cashmere Vanilla. I've reviewed Blackberry Cider above. The Cashmere Vanilla scent is fantastic, but unfortunately doesn't come in its own standalone scent. It's a rich, milky vanilla with a warm, classy amber note.
This is one of the strangest scents I've ever smelled. It smells like a combination of an industrial or bland unscented Ivory soap, mixed with a smidgen of black pepper, and it's not sweet at all. I tried to like it because it's so unique, but ultimately I decided that nope, I can't do it.
I don't like this one. It smells like really old soap with a very slight rose note, that's been sitting on the sink for a few years! It's not all that sweet either.
Turkish Spice Market
This is not actually a spicy scent, so no cinnamon or nutmeg. It's a sweet, warm, kind of incensey scent with a perfumey note. I really like it, and it smells "classy". I think it's the same scent as ScentSationals Tobacco Flower, and also a little like Better Homes and Gardens Warm Rustic Woods.
This smells like bright cedar with perfumey notes. It's not really a sandalwood scent, as sandalwood is a light milky wood scent, and I don't think I detect that. I really like it. I believe it's a dupe of ScentSationals Beachwood.
