Tuscany Candle Halloween Wax Melts Reviews - 2019
September 26, 2019
This is a review of Tuscany Candle Halloween Wax Melts from 2019.
These melts can be found at stores like Wegmans, Kroger, Meijer, and many other stores across the country (although not Walmart). These are the higher quality Halloween Tuscany melts, not the ones found at Walmart. Also, there may be additional scents that I was unable to find, but if I do, I'll add them to this review.
Sweet Halloween Treat
This smells like super sweet vanilla with possibly a barely detectable smidgen of jasmine way in the background, and a tiny bit of a chemical note. It's not a bakery or buttercream vanilla, and it does have a tiny bit of a candy note, but it doesn't really smell like candy corn. This was is just "meh" for me.
Cool Midnight Air
This smells like sweet dewy grass combined with a little bit of an authentic wildflower scent (not perfumey at all) and a hint of fresh air. But there's also something a little "intense", with a smidgen of bitterness that gives it a tiny bit of a bug spray note, but not enough to ruin the scent. And way in the background there's a smidgen of a mildewy note, like a cold, damp, dark basement, which does give this scent a little bit of a "creepy" feel! I actually like this one; it's unusual!
Sweet Halloween Treat
Super sweet rich sugary vanilla buttercream scent. It smells more like rich icing than the cookie itself. Scrumptious! But disappointingly, zero throw, even from a few inches away.
This smells like straight cinnamon (almost exactly like the Spider Cider scent) with a smidgen of nutmeg and clove that makes it smells like spicy pumpkin pie filling. It might be a dupe of one of their regular Fall 2019
Spooky Spiced Cider
This smells like straight sweet cinnamon, with no apple. It might be a dupe of their regular Cinnamon
scent, but I'm not sure as I no longer have that one to compare. It smells almost exactly like the Pumpkin Patch scent, but I think this one doesn't have the nutmeg or clove note.
Trick or Treat
Pumpkin pie filling with nutmeg, cinnamon, and extra clove for a bit of warmth. It's rich and sweet and smells great, and there's a hint of something else in there that I can't put my finger on. Pumpkiny scents are kind of boring to me, but I really like this one. I think it has a hint of sweet orange, yep that's what it is! But it's not an orange pomander scent, as pomander scents smell kind of soapy and a little sour and I don't like them.
