Aldi Wax Melt Reviews - Spring 2020

A nice standard laundry scent that smells like laundry detergent, but not a harsh detergent, and it's not overly sweet. I don't think it's the same scent as Aldi Fresh Cotton Blossom from spring 2018, and it's definitely not the same as Aldi Fresh Linen from spring 2019, but it IS the same scent as Hanna's Candle Fresh Cotton Blossom (not confirmed by Hanna's).

This is not an authentic honeysuckle scent, but more like a sweet honeysuckle perfume, in a good way, although it's not a perfumey scent or even overly sweet (hard to explain). It's a fantastic scent. I also detect an orange blossom/neroli note, which is one of my favorite scents, and maybe a smidgen of honey, although honey is not in the scent notes. I don't detect lemon at all. The scent lasted all day (at least 8 hours).

This is the same scent as Hanna's Candle Honeysuckle Blossom and Coral Honeysuckle (not confirmed by Hanna's).

This is a perfect lavender scent. It has a hint of sweetness, but it's not a sweet, powdery lavender scent. I don't smell thyme, but there may be a hint of eucalyptus, and it does have a little bit of a medicinal note, but not overwhelming. If you prefer a sweeter lavender, mix it with a floral, perfumey, or vanilla scent. If you like spa lavender, mix it with lemon, mint, or pine. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell jasmine, rose or musk.

This is the same as the Aldi Lavender & Thyme scent from Spring 2019 and Spring 2018, and Hanna's Candle Fresh Lavender Garden, and Hanna's Candle Lavender & Thyme (not confirmed by Hanna's).

This is a sweet watery scent with a soft warm ambery note and a hint of musk. It has a little bit of a soapy note, and it's not a perfumey scent. But it also has a richness and a bit of a foodie note, maybe vanilla or even caramel, that's a bit nauseating and just "too much" when mixed with the freesia. Looking at the notes, I don't see anything foodie. This is the same scent as Aldi Cozy Blanket, Aldi Tranquil Waters, Aldi Calm Waters from the Aldi Fresh Trio, Hanna's Candle Tranquil Waters (not confirmed by Hanna's), and Mainstays Peaceful Waters from Walmart (all of which were manufactured by Hanna's Candle).
